3 bedroom apartment in Oura Albufeira with amazing pool at walking distance to beach, strip and old town, WIFI and AC, private condo

The location was fantastic and the layout of the property for our group was perfect. The bed sheets smelt very clean and fresh. The host was very responsive. The negative comments that we make can be easily rectified but we need to be honest on our review. We would stay again but would like reassurance that the cleanliness has been addressed.

The property did not look as per the photos. The whole apartment was tired and could do with refreshing and new furniture. Especially the beds. Cleanliness - there was a urine smell in the main bathroom which disappeared once we bought some cleaning wipes and wiped the floor and toilet over. Kitchen - only 2 mugs for 6 people. Host delivered some more when asked. The dishwasher was clogged and a rancid smell was taking over the kitchen. So bad that we didn’t want to go in there. Host fixed it on the 2nd day and all was fine after. Small bag of dirt (from dustpan) found in drawer. We were told it was left by accident and to put in the bins in the road. Of course we did, but it’s not something that we should have found in a drawer. Shower in main bathroom clogged easily and had to wait to drain for next person otherwise would overflow. Shower curtain not as photo, needed updating as didn’t fit properly. Toilet seat in en-suite broken - this was reported but not fixed throughout the stay. Kitchen and lounge door locks didn’t work. All was fine as we were on 1st floor and we put outside blinds down but security is questionable and there is no safe.

Location was perfect for us, close to all facilities but quiet also! WiFi was great too.....

Amazing communication from the host during the booking process and our stay. Even called me on the day of travel to check I received everything. Clear instructions and response throughout. Lots of advice provided. Spacious apartment which provides everything you need . Fantastic location , aprox 10mins walk to beautiful beach and the strip. We loved the pool. Clean and never too busy for us, enjoyed it a lot when taking a break from the beach and sand. Thank you very much. We would return.

The location was ideal for a girls holiday as it is so near to both old town and new town Plenty to do around within walking distance and cheap taxis

Good location, nice area and quiet. Walking distance to a lot of bars, restaurants, shops and beach. Host was very accommodating and provided a lot of information about the apartment and the surrounding area. He was also very helpful when needed.

Apartment seemed clean on arrival however on closer inspection a deeper clean of the apartment was needed as there was mould in the back of the fridge and something was spilled in the bottom of the fridge. Also there was a musty smell from the wardrobes and floors weren’t overly clean (ear bud found under couch) and there was some dust. It could be a really nice apartment and would have got a good review from us if the following were rectified/provided: -Bedding is very dated, stained, old, not like on photos on booking.com -very old, mismatched towels -Cushions on bed when we arrived so we had to get the pillows from the cupboard and as a result had a musty smell. -Pillows were old and flat -Not enough blankets/sheets on bed. We had to sleep with jumpers on as the extra blankets in wardrobe were musty and not washed recently -childs cot was musty -Musty smell from curtains -Screen on TV damaged which made it hard to watch -Hairdryer not working -Ants found in room with 2 single bed and ants in the main bedroom -Apartment was quiet damp, anything left on beds got damp afterwards and was not ideal for young kids -No cloth or kitchen spray provided to keep kitchen table and kitchen surfaces clean -No bin bags provided for kitchen or bathroom, we had to buy our own -only one toilet roll provided in each bathroom for a 9 night stay. -pool was dirty

Great location for family’s close enough to walk with kids to the strip and far enough to not here the noise from the strip, and close to the beach

There was nothing we didn’t like not got anything bad to say
