Location and parking

The location is excellent and the apartment is a good size. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the shops are very conveniently situated. The main areas, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were clean.

I found the smell of smoke, wafting through the from other apartments, expecially in the bathroom, off putting. I understand that it's a block of flats and that the host can't say what other do in their own flats, but if it had been mentioned, we wouldn't have booked it. Although the general cleanliness was good, it was superficial. The skirting boards were dusty, as were the door frames, tops of pictures etc. When I lifted the sofa bed cushions, there were loads of crumbs underneath. I'm glad I didn't have to sleep in there. Also, we weren't due to leave until Monday, and Sunday morning, at 8:50am, I got a message telling me where to leave the keys when I left the next day! It made me feel like we were an inconvenience.
