We took our 4 grandchildren ages 3, 5, 7 and 10 on holiday with us for a week. The house was well equipped for adults and all the children. The location being so close to the park and supermarket made everything easy! All 6 of us loved our stay!

"A great family base to explore the lakes district"

Really well equipped family home for our trip. Good selection of cereals, spreads, milk and juice provided. Lovely and warm. Two separate living areas which suited our group well. Nice touch with the kids toys too. Hosts were lovely. Will definitely be returning.

"family friendly cosy and well located"

Was suitable for families, warm, cosy, neat, great facilities, location was very close to a play ground. The master bed was very comfy. Rooms were warm.

The children's mattresses were a little worn.

We loved the space! The kids thought it was extremely thoughtful to leave them chocolates and said such. Loved that it had toys for the kids to play with while we were there., and the kids LOVED the dog! The beds were very comfortable! Our hosts were very kind and responsive! The location is gorgeous!

Honestly, it was a really great stay. We did get a little hot at night but that's to be expected with the time of year. The hosts graciously provided us with a fan upon request.
