"It was good for its location but bring eye shades if you want a good rest at the end of long days."

It was an accommodation that was sufficient for our needs since we did not plan to cook and only needed a place to rest/sleep and do our laundry. The location is very convenient as it is within walking distance to the Asahikawa JR station and main street for food.

It is impossible to sleep beyond sunrise which happens around 4am everyday. There are no curtains in the main bedroom. This was a major grief for us. We had to move to the adjoining room and sleep on the floor instead on the foldable futon mattress which we had to lay out ourselves. Unfortunately there is no AC in this room, nor the room with the double decker bed. So we had to keep the door open to get some air flow from the AC that was blowing in the living room.
