Could not access the room due to the host not providing the codes to access the room.

The communication. Could not access the room and after multiple messages asking for codes, still did not receive it. Was told to check my spam folder but they would not provide the codes to gain access to the room. Had to find alternative accommodation just so we had somewhere to sleep. Refuse to give a refund and booking.com say it's up to the host. Essentially have been scammed as paid for a service I did not receive.
