"Haus Schloss Fürstenberg"

A lovely old Schloss minutes from the train station and town. Beautiful town, river cruises, castles, hikes, biking. Weather much warmer than normal so room quite warm but everything you could want in the kitchenette, oven, tools, dishes WiFi, shared balcony, wonderful caring hostess.

The room could do with a fan. Otherwise wonderful.

Cluttered room. Poor furnishings. Suspect electricity. No lift. Entrance hall and our room needed a complete refurbishment.

We liked the old schloss venue and especially the proprietor, Rosi. She was very attentive our comfort.

Stairs and no elevator could be problematic, but Rosi dampened that problem by insisting on helping get the bags up the stairs. Stairs and no elevator is inherent in a charming old schloss.

The host is wonderful, she also helped us with late arrival and keeping baggage after check out. The apartment has all facilities for a several days stay and is just a couple of minutes' walk from the station. There is a nice balcony. Yes, room windows face railroad, but earplugs help, we slept very comfortably.

Great location and the building had beautiful wood floors.

Large comfortable room with lots of amenities. Great view out the front windows. Very helpful, friendly and professional host. great location.

A lot of stairs to climb to get to room. Trains go by constantly - not a problem for me because it was cold outside so I kept the windows closed and the train noise was minimal but if you had to keep the windows open in Summer, it could be a problem.
