Erika's Haus in der Sonne

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön und wäre perfekt für Ausflüge. Zentral und ruhig gelegen, direkt an einem Mini-Golf-Platz...Von aussen wirkt das Haus mit dem verwilderten Garten charmant.

Die Zimmer sind sehr alt und dunkel eingerichtet...das wäre ok, wenn nicht mehrere tote Spinnen und Spinnweben in den Ecken und an den Zimmerdecken wären. Die Küche ist sehr abgewrackt, nur rudimentär eingerichtet - es fehlt an vielem und das Geschirr ist z. T. schmutzig. Die zunächst freundliche Wirtin ist wenig verständnisvoll für Kritik. Auch wenn eine Unterkunft günstig ist- wenn man sie nicht mehr pflegen kann- wie die Wirtin eigenen Angaben nach aus Krankheitsgründen, sollte man nicht vermieten. Ausserdem ist bereits in früheren Bewertungen die mangelnde Sauberkeit und die schlechte Ausstattung der Küche bemängelt worden - leider zu spät gelesen, dafür sind wir statt 5 gebuchten Nächten nach nur 1 Nacht abgereist.

Erika is a very good host. She met us on arrival and showed us around the property. It is a very cosy place with nice furnishing in the living and bed rooms. The location is very beautiful and Bad Grund seems to be a very nice place. We couldn't enjoy it much as we stayed only one night and had to continue our journey.

We had to climb what looked like portable / make-do wooden stairs to the balcony where the entrance to the apartments were located. It as a bit difficult for my old parents to get in and out of the apartment because of this. Also, the toilet in one apartment is right next to the kitchen which makes it not so good. No bath towels were provided. I am not sure it is mentioned in the description. Erika provided us only 3 towels upon request. Luckily we had a few with us and we could manage.
