"Very good"

8.0

Our four nights stay in Villa Amelie was very nice. The flat is very clean, it has everything you need and is fairly priced. The beach is a 4 min walk away and really beautiful. We had a wonderful Garden, a really good kitchen and a spacious Partnern!

The house is divided into two apartments, one in the souterrain and one on the ground floor, and sadly you couldnt tell from the pictures on AirBnB which one of them you get. Still, you can use the beautiful garden to get your sunlight. Using the washing machine is only free the first time, after that there is an extra fee per wash.

"Convenient apartment for staying in Bisciglie"

8.0

Very friendly host met us on arrival and had arranged for plenty of food for a few days breakfast. The onsite parking is mildly challenging but secure. We had the top apartment which has views over the garden, which the other apartment doesn't have as it is in the basement. The shared washing machine was a bones.

The host doesn't speak English which provided some challenges in communication. The shower head kept sliding down as its stopper was broken. The adjacent lots are all building sites which meant some extra noice that we woke up to at 7am on workdays.

Excellent host. He helped us to book a transfer from and to the airport. Appartments are large, clean, modern, fully equiped. Beach is just 5 minutes on foot, great restaurant 3 minutes on foot. I recommend this accomodation.

Book transfer in advance or rent a car, otherwise transport will be expensive.

"Very cosy."

10.0

The property was very cosy and super clean. The host was very nice, she waited for us on the street, so we couldn’t miss the house. She even made a dinner reservation for us.

On Saturday evening there was noise from a club, so we had some trouble sleeping with open windows.

"sadly, the first time we chose to leave and stay somewhere else..."

4.0

Maddalena, the lady who gave us the keys (not the owner - never met him) was really nice and I think tried her best. The appartment is huge on multiple levels connected with stairs and the kitchen is fully equipped and even has a dishwasher. The garden is also quite big with a barbecue but no sunbeds, tables, or shade. It can be a nice appartment to stay in if all the - in our opinion - downsides below are communicated beforehand. So maybe it'll help some guests to be better prepared than we were or plan their stay differently.

Our arrival was not the best, there was noone there before the check-in time. You'll have to pay for street parking until you get the keys. Even then, our appartment wasn't ready (things left in the shower, broken or faulty equipment, dirt under the table etc.) and at first she wouldn't give us the keys because she didn't know which one we had booked. The balcony is also quite big and shady but all the sun shades block any kind of view (even though there is none), so you can feel a bit imprisoned. The "breakfast" is plastic packaged left in the appartment so you'll have to prepare it yourself, nothing fresh and no interaction with the hosts at all. That's totally alright if it's communicated like that and you wanna enjoy an Airbnb kinda holiday on your own. Not however for this amount of money, that promises some standards and services and availability or even presence of the host. Therefore it is totally overpriced. The biggest downside however is the area where it's located: lots of shards and dirt all over the beach and on the way there. No supermarkets or other stores/beach bars/restaurants close - even the beach bars were deserted. Maybe this is a result of Corona but it was eerie and we didn't feel comfy there at all. When asking how to get around, to get food etc. we didn't get any useful advice and were dismissed: "don't use the car, you can't park anywhere, walk everywhere" but Bisceglie is several km and Trani even further. So you'll be stuck there with the shards and nothing. We were so sad, after all we spent so much money and this was our only holiday of the year, which you save up for etc. we wanted to leave again right away. Due to some fortunate star our once a year holiday got turned to the better when we found a much cheaper and the nicest, most helpful host ever and could switch to him the next day.
