The Annexe

Fantastic we booked 4 nights for Royal Ascot just perfect and lots cheaper than hotels definitely recommend the Annexe.

Excellent hosts & perfect property.

We stayed at The Annexe as a couple with our 6 year old son visiting Lego-land, which is less than 20 min drive away, and wanted a quiet location with easy parking and self catering facilities for our 2 night stay. The Annexe was perfect for our requirements. We met the lovely couple who own the property by choice, as they do not intrude. Very easy to get to from the M3 as we travelled from Weymouth, Dorset. I would certainly consider this as a great place to stay on future trips to Lego-Land or Ascot Races.

Nothing not to like - perhaps guests should be aware that the TV has no aerial connection and therefore is internet connected so make sure you know your log-in details for YouTube, Netflix, BBC I-Player etc.. It wasn't a problem for us.

We had a lovely stay at The Annexe ✨ The space was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. Monica & Jon were great hosts — friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout. It’s perfect for a couple or someone travelling solo who wants a peaceful stay. Just something to note — due to the steps and the path at the front, it may not be the most suitable for younger children. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and we’d happily return. Thank you again! 😊

The only small downside for us was the access at the front, as there are steps and a flagstone-on-gravel path, which can be a bit tricky — especially with luggage or for anyone less steady on their feet.

Cozy with a comfortable bed and excellent shower room.

Struggled accessing the wifi but that was likely my lack of understanding the instructions. Cozy for us but could be small for other guests. Parking on the pavement not ideal but worked OK.

Provided everything need, clean, quiet, homely and in a great location.
