The Annexe

The bathroom was very good and everything was clean. The shower was hot and the towels were soft. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a microwave oven. The bed was large and quite firm. Generally, the flat was quite private and well lit at night. There was a car charger which the owner helped me to use, but unfortunately, it only charged the car a few miles before stopping. My car is BMW i3 but theirs is a Tesla.

I couldn't get any channels on the TV except iplayer as you had to 'sign in' and I didn't know the code. The room was good for one person, but I think it would be a tight squeeze for 3! The large chest of drawers takes up too much space and I think the clothes hanger would be better in this position so that people can get round the bed. I wasn't keen on parking on the slope outside the owner's house because the drive was really narrow and I was afraid I'd hit something! Also the i3 has strange doors which you can't open in a narrow space! If you don't want to charge your car, it's easier just to park on the kerb outside.

The host (Monica) was very pleasant and welcoming on arrival. The main room was very clean and modern. Good use of the space available. The kitchenette was very well equipped, and the bathroom has very good modern facilities. It was incredibly quiet, which was lovely after staying near Kings Cross for a few days prior! There's a shopping centre with a good variety of restaurants, which is approx five minute drive away. There is also a Tesco a few minutes drive away. It was a great location to stay for us getting to Windsor Castle and Legoland. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was fantastic for our trip to Legoland and London.

It was a little small for a family of three but as it was only a base it was okay.

Great location if you want to visit Legoland and Windsor Castle. Nice shopping centre with plenty of restaurants within 15 min walk. The apartment is very clean and comfy. Located at the end of a quiet road.

Spacious room when just using double bed. Great kitchen and bathroom, great shower. Plenty of towels. Lovely hosts.

Only a few milk sachets. I'm affected by light and wake easily from it so a blackout curtain would have helped me sleep longer.
