APPLE COTTAGE

Lovely quaint cottage in a quiet rural area.

Nothing comes to mind.

Lovely outside seating where we could sit for breakfast and afternoon tea in the sunshine. Colourful house and flowery garden. Great to have space in cupboards for our clothes. Friendly reception and very dog-friendly.

We could not find a curtain for the window in the roof in the bedroom.

The character and charm of the property and the lovely garden.

Shower cubicle doors need fixing, Black out blinds or curtain needed in the bedroom and a blind to the bedroom velux window.

It felt like being at home and it,s excellent for dog owners.The cottage is also very quiet and has many little extras like hair dryer & Apple T.V and Netflix etc. The shower is also very hot and powerful.All round good value for money

it was a perfect little bolt hole and a cosy escape from the weather. it was booked at short notice so it was a chance find but I considered myself very lucky to have fallen on it. lt was perfect for me. log burner, well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and the bed was also very comfortable.

We loved the open fire place and that the cottage literally sits on the edge of the Brecon Beacons

We liked the cottage cosy and warm. Paula was a very welcoming and polite woman.

We like the area and grate places to go. Fresh air was brill . People in and around the area was grate.

The small cottage was on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in a nice little village and within walking distance of the village shop. The property was cosy, clean, quiet and comfortable with a lovely garden containing an outdoor eating area. Paula was a very welcoming and helpful host. We were greeted with wine and crisps and got immediately into happy holiday mode. The cost was very affordable for the peak season. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and plan to return.

A washing machine would have been nice after muddy mountain walks, but we appreciate that there is probably not the space for one. Make sure you put the village of Gwaun Cae Gurwen in your sat nav, as we ended up in New Road, Ammanford, some 6 miles away.
