Bucharest itself was the highlight of my trip. The city is beautiful, full of history, amazing food, great architecture, and genuinely welcoming people. Despite the challenges I experienced with this accommodation, I enjoyed exploring the city and meeting locals who were kind and helpful throughout my stay.

I was treated like a transaction, not a person. From the moment I booked, it felt like the goal was to check guests in as late as possible, check them out as early as possible, and charge for anything they could. Customer care seemed completely absent. My flight from San Diego was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight. Throughout the entire process, I stayed in daily communication with the host and kept them updated about my travel situation. I also asked if I could store my luggage on my departure day since my flight home wasn't until late at night. I was told I could only leave my bag for two hours. When I explained that this would force me to carry my luggage around the city all day, there was no effort to help or find a reasonable solution. What happened next was unbelievable. Without informing me, the host canceled my booking. After traveling for two days and taking three flights, I arrived in Bucharest only to discover that I no longer had a place to stay. The most disappointing part was not the cancellation itself, but the complete lack of empathy or accountability afterward. There was no apology, no attempt to help resolve the situation, and they still tried to charge me as a "no-show" despite being fully aware of the circumstances and in regular communication with me throughout my journey. Bucharest is a beautiful city filled with kind, welcoming people, which makes this experience stand out even more. Because of the way I was treated, I cannot recommend staying here. When you travel, how people treat you matters just as much as the accommodation itself. After everything it took to get there, the lack of basic human consideration was truly disappointing.

Clean, central location, friendly host - would stay again.

The building itself was a little sketchy and I wouldn’t use the elevator - but I think this is more of a culture shock for those who don’t live in Europe.

Comfort, spacious rooms, cleanliness, location is just superb... far enough from laud center noise, and close enough to walk there in no time, also just outside of the building you have bakery, grocery market, food stores and coffee shops, so everything is right there to enjoy your stay

We were right in the pulse of the city, with everything we needed just a stone's throw away. Whether it was charming cafes, vibrant nightlife, or cultural landmarks, we were perfectly positioned to experience the very best of Bucharest. ​✨ The Apartment ​The decor? Pure magic. It’s clear that someone with an incredible eye for interior design put their heart and soul into this space. It’s the perfect blend of modern luxury and cozy comfort—stylishly curated, sparkling clean, and filled with "Instagrammable" corners. It felt less like a rental and more like a high-end boutique hotel (but with much better vibes!). ​👑 The Host ​A huge shoutout to our host, who was the definition of hospitality excellence. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, providing fantastic local tips and being incredibly responsive and kind. It’s rare to find someone who cares so much about their guests' experience. ​Bottom line: If you’re lucky enough to find this place available, book it immediately. You won't just be staying in a flat; you'll be elevating your entire Bucharest experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location. Responsive host. Fresh clean linen and towels, lovely and warm.

Nice appartment, good space for a family. Well decorated, gives a homey feeling. Good shower clean with hot water and alot of towels. Comfortable beds. Kithchen built a little strange, but has all cooking facilities needed. We were in December and the appartment was heated well. Walking distance from the old city Parking wasn't a problem on the streets around. The owner was helpful.

The building is old, the elevater also old and very small. (4th floor) That and the entrance to the building didn't give us a good feeling.
