The-POINT Lovely Apart in center of Bucharest

Really chic studio, nicely appointed with everything you’d need, in a really good location. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was really helpful and responsive!

The house has a weird smell if AC is not working or the windows are closed. There was also some mold in the bathroom

Beautiful apartment, very close to public transport links and an easy walk to the centre

Perfect for us, but be aware if you have mobility issues that there is a beautiful but steep spiral staircase to access the bedroom and bathroom.

The location was really good after we got to know the area. Lovely little apartment presented very well. Loved the washer/dryer.

The stair case was an initial challenge. Couldn’t find a plug for the kitchen sink or a tea towel. Having the microwave and toaster more accessible would be beneficial.

The studio has a lot of character, as well as all the amenities one could need during a short stay. There is a smart tv with applications for Netflix, etc. The bathroom is small but convenient, the bed and pillows are comfortable. The tea provided in the kitchen was delicious. The location is a short walk away from Cismigiu Gardens and the historical centre. The neighborhood has some cool cafés. There is free street parking and plenty of available spots when we visited (make sure there aren’t any blue street markings or paid parking signs when you park, as parking on some streets nearby is paid).

The below comments are more for the sake of feedback — they did not negatively impact our stay. The wifi signal was a bit patchy, but we did not need to use it much. Keep in mind that there aren’t any pods or detergent for the washing machine, you would need to bring your own (which is absolutely fine, just good to know ahead of time). There was a small leak in the kitchen, which seems to be coming from the bathroom upstairs - it would be good to check it out soon. This is a personal thing, but it might be more convenient to have two duvets instead of one on the upstairs bed.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! the apartment is lovely, within easy reach to the city center. Joy is a perfect host, very responsive and ready to support in case of any questions.
