Strada Smârdan Studio

The location is as good as it can be. Definitely the nicest host we have ever had. The instructions on how to enter the studio were perfect and also the little chat midweek about if we needed anything were really cool. The studio has a lot of amenities you may need even for the little space. It also has a great vibe, loved.the chalk wall.

The bathroom was a little small, but even I(big guy) bathed with no issues.

Location was fantastic, right in the center of oldtown and everything was within walking distance. Most pick up/meeting points for tours are within a 5-10 min walking distance away. The apartment is spacious, so you can spread out. Kitchen is very basic, I didn't use it much besides the fridge. Check in worked great via WhatsApp instructions.

The shower. It's so super tiny and you've got barely room to move around or shampoo your hair without constantly changing the water temperature. The water also took up to 10min before it finally had a normal temperature. Before that its cold for a long time and then starts changing between warm/cold. So be patient and wait. I hated to waste so much water but there was no other way. I failed on the washing machine. It didn't spin, so all clothes were soaked and it didn't wash properly ( the metall thing didn't move around at all). If you need darkness when you sleep, you should bring a sleeping mask. There is a green light in the kitchen boiler that's super light and the curtains don't cover the windows (I have Mt eyes closed when sleeping but I know of people who have issues with that). Neighbor can be noisy.

Noise, not from the street as the windows look in the backyard, but from neighbours behind the wall, but it’s probably not the fault of the property.

Nice and cozy flat right in the middle of the old centre. On a quiet courtyard. Vlad was super responsive and helpful. It was nice to have a coffee machine, coffee and sugar. Would recommend it!

It's an old building and one night we could hear neighbours partying. But other nights were very quiet.
