The host gave us instructions where to park nearby, and it was easy to find a parking spot. The apartment is within walking distance of many restaurants and cafés, and it’s an ideal location for reaching Monasterio de Piedra quickly. It spans over two floors and has two separate bedrooms. The kitchen and dining/living room seemed comfortable, but we didn’t make use of it. The host left muffins for us, which was very much appreciated.

We had to call the host to enter the building. Luckily, we knew Spanish, otherwise it would have been a little difficult. The only bathroom with a shower is an en suite to the master bedroom, which is a bit awkward.

We loved our stay in Calatayud and our apartment suited our needs perfectly. It's spacious, quiet & well located and the communication with our friendly and helpful host was great. Although the apartment is on the 4th floor there's an elevator available if needed. We found Calatayud an interesting city to visit and the Museo is well worth a visit.

The apartment is filled with rotten smell. When I checked in, I already smell the unpleasant chemical smell, I thought that could come from the air freshener used by the host. I unplugged the air freshener and opened all the windows. Then the rotten smell was getting even worse. I will write formal complaint to Calatayud city government. A property , which doesn't meet the basic hygiene standard , should not be given license to rent out to the tourist. Also, the shower is broken. I can't take shower. I think I have enough reason to request booking.com to take this property out of your website, as having such property on your website will only damage your reputation. In addition, I have right to ask the refund and compensation. I pay to stay at a decent place not to be surrounded by the poisoned air and broken facility.
