Everything! One of the few places I’ve stayed where the owner has really thought about the guests. There was absolutely everything we could have needed. The apartment is so comfortable, & cosy ( for the colder weather). The balcony looking out over the river is beautiful, watching the wildlife is such a treat. First time of seeing Kingfishers! It’s minutes walk to the high street for shopping, plus there’s a dedicated parking place. And it’s very quiet too. Callander is a great base for walking & sightseeing.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Lovely apartment in a beautiful spot right on the river yet still very central. Very clean and well equipped with everything you needed to cook etc, although we never as went out and got takeaways 😜. Jackie was great and gave us early check in then gave us a later check out so that was very much appreciated, thanks Jackie!

Lovely flat with all kitchen equipment needed. Plenty of space and seating good. Liked the balcony and would like to be there in better weather to make use of it. Great views over river.

Absolutely nothing to complain about

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with booking and staying at Tanllan Apartment. We were up for a long weekend and wished that we could stay longer. The apartment itself is immaculate, with absolutely everything that you could possibly need. Perhaps the loveliest thing about the apartment was the beautiful views from the balcony overlooking the River Teith (pictured are views from the balcony from each direction. The hosts provided lots of guidance and advice about the surrounding area and things to do in the area. And the apartment is well located with hikes right from the door out into the beautiful Trossachs.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Location was perfect - just minutes from the High Street but the property was in a quiet location with balcony overlooking a river. Really relaxing. All our needs were met with an exceptionally clean and serviced apartment. Off road parking which was an added bonus.

We have toured almost the entire Scotland and, having stayed in 6 different hotels and apartments, in the end our group unanimously voted this apartment the best stay on the whole trip. Inside, the apartment felt very brand new and fresh, with modern fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathrooms, and comfortable bedrooms. The washing machine with a drier was an absolutely great thing to have. The location is amazing, it's a quiet cul-de-sac, the kitchen/living room is facing a beautiful river, with a balcony to enjoy the view (during those precious moments when it's not raining in Scotland!). Staying so close to the water, we were a bit worried about mosquitoes, but in the end none materialised. A local co-op shop is within 5 minutes walking from the property. Callander is right in the middle of the Trossachs, and it was a great base for exploring the area. Some pretty amazing hikes around there. Coming back to the apartment after a day of hiking was like returning home. Our host was always very helpful too. Overall, it's an absolutely lovely holiday apartment situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland.

Just a tiny thing. Not sure what was the interior designer thinking, but an idea to put a tiny basin into an ample sized bathroom was certainly not the cleverest one. There was certainly more than enough space for a full-sized basin, which would make the process of washing one's face much more comfortable.

Spotless and exceptional apartment with everything and more provided you could ever need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. Very spacious accommodation finished throughout to a very high standard. The balcony with fantastic views over the river is an added bonus and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility this fantastic home from home has to offer. Our host Jackie was so lovely and easily contactable before and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality accommodation in a great location. We cannot wait to return.
