Residenza San Matteo

30 minutes by train from Florence and 100 meters from the house to the train station.If you rent a car, you will use a safe and private parking lot. Above all, a friendly host. You can find anything you need in front of your door in the evening. We are grateful and thank him. We definitely recommend this beautiful house.

Easy access from the autostrada, which was just what we wanted to break our drive. We were met on arrival and shown over the apartment and its facilities. Check-in was friendly and efficient and we were given helpful advice about places for dinner. The apartment has been refurbished excellently, with an eye to detail and a clear focus on the needs of guests. For example, the choice of doors meant that very little light entered from the shared entry space or from the bathroom to the bedroom. Tea, coffee, milk and water (as well as packaged breakfast offerings) were provided. Bed was extremely comfortable - as were the pillows (a bonus in Italy, where they are often as flat as a pancake) and extra pillows were provided.

The best stay in Italy so far. A truly unique place, eleven on a scale of one to ten. Beautiful house and garden. Attention to detail at every step. An ideal starting point for exploring Tuscany by car or train.

We had a pleasant stay at this property. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. While the room was a bit too cold initially, the heating option provided quickly made it more comfortable. Overall, it was a nice experience and we would consider staying here again.

Easy access to the train station to Florence (5 min walk). Quiet neighborhood. Isolated location of the apartment and use of the garden.

The bed in the living room area was not so comfortable for two adults (although dissent for children). We would have preferred a closed-cabin shower in the bathroom.

I liked everything. For visiting Firenze, it's well located right next to a train station.
