Holiday Home in Sea Point, Fresnaye

I didn'tlike anything about this place at all... it is an absolutely worse place to stay. I would recommend giving my money back for this booking.. I had faced a complete disaster with my family over there.. recommend Booking.com to delist this property from their website

Everything... the place was shabby, stinking like anything... not at all clean... furnitures were broken... lots of cockroaches.. even toilet flush was not working... all the furnitures were very very old... no maintenance were there.. towels, bedsheets, utensils, nothing was clean. Worst stay I ever had in South Africa. The beds were super bad.. mattresses were absolutely worse... chars and tables were broken...

Location and hosts were great

The location was good.

The beds in one room were broken and the mattress in two rooms was very bad. The heater in the lounge was out of gas for the first night. The second toilet was so small, we had to squeeze past the basin to get to the shower.

Home away from home warmth and cosy close to all amenities. We really enjoyed our time there will definitely go back again in the future if need arises. We enjoyed the support from the host they made sure we feel welcomed.

The location of this property was really convenient and the distance to shops and restaurants were amazing. Host was on site and generally pleasant on meeting.

The unit is very old and most things were creaky - doors, handles, cupboards, floors and everything was very well used and yet smelled not in use. As There was a very very strong smell of damp/moggyness - in all the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The shower was either piping hot or just cold. The toilets were clean but the toilet seats shifts - with two kiddies it wasn't great. The bedroom was the most damp smelling - especially in the cupboard and drawers. the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the duvet was lumpy and it did not smell great. There was only one air con unit in the one bedroom only, the other two bedrooms only have fans. The curtains are terrible, there is a street lamp right outside the window of the biggest bedroom-everything was lit up and we reli struggled to fall asleep or stay asleep.
