Mountain and Sea Splendor

The breakfast was great and well prepared. Rooms were sufficient enough; furniture is essential for a vacation and location is great with beautiful sea views and restaurants.

Having cleaning services not included in the booking is constraint, because the place gets dirty and unhygienic hence, we experience cockroaches. No display boards for information of rubbish bins and cleaning notices when check in.

I stayed in the building before, but this time the broken furniture, cupboards, chipped cups, plates, glasses and the lack of a closed garage, realy put me off as I know what it can be.

The view was fantastic. The location is great.

Old scraped pots and pans and had to buy my own clean pots and fry pans to cook in. Cockroaches in the kitchen. Cups and plates were chipped. Hanging cupboard doors in room. Tap in kitchen had a hole and water was shooting off from the side. The bath tub was not useable as it had no shower curtain so 4 people had to use 1 shower.

Everything was great, the location ,clean apartment. The host had fresh milk, juice and coffee with sweets available

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view of Table Mountain was fantastic, and the place felt like a true home away from home. It was fully stocked, and we appreciated the bonus of having orange juice and milk provided. The beds were incredibly comfy. We would definitely book again in the future. :)

We encountered some spotty internet and a few dead spots, and unfortunately, there were no spatulas available, and some of the pans were a bit warped. However, we managed fine. The address of the building is 18 Beach Boulevard, Room Witsand 306. For those traveling by Uber, avoid using Booking.com's travel directions, as it led us to a different area. Fortunately, Shelley was incredibly kind and helped us out, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, the place met our expectations, and we loved it here.

Location/view

Mattress in main bedroom is long overdue for replacement. It was impossible to sleep on it and other travelers have been saying the same for the last 2 years. We had to turn the router on ourselves for the wifi. The electrical plugs in the kitchen don’t work and there is an extension cord that doesn’t work which is supposed to be used for the microwave, running across the stove. Cupboards are badly put together and lots of space taken up by junk from the apartment. No bedside lights in main bedroom and a chair was given as a bedside table in another.

The apartment was open and spacious, amazing views, close to shops. It reminded me of home with the colour scheme my kids loved it and we are definitely coming back.

Please consider replacing the main bedroom mattress.
