Phenomenal accommodation and service. Our host Tyron gave us an exceptional and warm welcome. Even the security of the building exceeded our expectations, and the rooftop pool and barbecue.... WOW!!! A huge thanks to you all. I would most definitely recommend this property to everyone.

"Lovely Stay extremely close to the waterfront!"

Very well located, and very comfortable! The pool up top is also very nice. Very short walk to the waterfront, and extremely close to the Gold Restaurant - a must in my opinion. It was clean, they left water which was a very nice touch and you get cleaning service on the third day of your stay.

Check in experience needs to improve. We arrived and had to wait for over 15 minutes for someone to come open the apartment for us even though we had said our arrival time in advance. The person was ok friendly and didn’t show the whole property nor the house.

"Exceptional"

Fabulous hospitality. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and made a person feel right at home. The appliances in the kitchen were top class. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Cape Town.

Unfortunately for us on arrival, I had only just my bookings.com print out on hand. this was not enough for the security to establish who had done the booking and what apartment I was assigned to. I had not received my email regarding my stay with the details from the agents. what I was told, that before checking in, the agent sends a WhatsApp message on my cell phone. this message I did not receive. in all the confusion we were under the impression that there was no booking and I was scammed for the money I had spent. I then had to stop my credit card with my bank. Tired and disappointed we left after almost 2 hours in search of another apartment. the security at the building tried to assist us best as she could with other possible hosts owning units. unfortunately, at that late notice, nothing was available. about 6.30pm that evening we finally got a call from the agent asking me what time am I arriving. shocked to hear that they had someone waiting at reception for us from 3pm. which I can say, that it was a complete lie. we were at the reception from 3pm working with the security to establish what apartment was booked for me. no one else was there waiting for me. if someone was there, our problem would have been very quickly resolved, as it is a small reception area and all guests coming in were assisted immediately. the security asked 2 guests to show me their text on WhatsApp detailing their stay and which apartment they needed to be directed to. this helped to explain the procedure to me, how the check in is done there. finally about 7pm we got our keys to the place and we settled in by 8pm. The painful experience having to cancel bank cards etc. after a 2 day drive from Durban was most annoying. this incident could have been avoided by a simple text or call from the agent. I am an Airbnb host in Umhlanga, Durban, I make sure that if my guest does not reply to my message via Airbnb, I take the time to text or Whatsapp them to ensure smooth check in and out.
