Quayside Canal Eden Home

Nothing . It was not advertised as a residential block of flats , the security gate & front door were rusted , the entrance light was broken , there was absolutely no decor or even pictures on the wall , the couch was filthy dirty with stains , the veranda is 20cm wide occupied by a mop , the cupboard was taken up by a drying rack & vacuum cleaner . At 1 am the electricity went off & the fan stopped working & it was completely airless then to top it all the mosquitos arrived . I had to stay awake till 3 am before I could put the fan on again . No complimentary tea or coffee even. No greetings no reception desk or lobby , just a pick of keys at the security kiosk . At R2200 I could & should have booked into a 4 star hotel with staff & service . Totally the worst I have ever stayed in .

Sabre, our host, was very kind and helpful. The apartment has a good view from the balcony, overlooking a river. We were refreshed.

The property is very hygienic, aesthetically pleasing, and perfectly spacious.
