Toilet flushing was slow

The location in the middle of the CBD is very good. However, the hotel is located behind Long Street, which limits comfort. The room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable and clean. Even though the furniture and the bathroom are already very worn. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you need.

Especially the volume coming from the bars and pubs on Long Street is unbearable. Even with the windows closed, a good night's sleep is out of the question. The next problem is that there is no air conditioning in the room. In all my travels around the world, I have never had such a stuffy room with such poor air quality. Since you can't open the window due to the loud music, restful sleep is almost impossible. It's unbearably loud even with earplugs. The entire house seems quite worn and not clean. It is customary to have a porter in Cape Town but those in the building were the least attentive and unfriendly we have encountered. In the fridge, we had a water bottle that was already open and was simply refilled with water which is an absolute no-go. The bathroom does have ventilation, but it hardly works and has no controller. For the same price, you can get nicer, quieter, and more comfortable apartments in Cape Town than this one.

The apartment was big enough

The apartments was cleaned when I checked in but the next 2 days nobody bothered to clean nor change the bedding and towels.

The apartment has a very nice size, perfect for a one week stay. It is well equiped and sockets have an European plug, which is a bonus. The free Wi-Fi and access to Netflix are also valuable.

I was disappointed with the noise every night of my stay. The apartment faces Long Street, so if you're a light sleeper, you'd better bring ear plugs.

Since my staying was 10days i was expecting my room to get clean bedding, clean towels & to be cleaned once a week bt i was cleaning my own room
