Lovely Apartment in Castlebar

It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed

Looks a little untidy outside

A lovely clean apartment close to the town. It had all modern conveniences, including a nespresso machine!

The beds were very uncomfortable, the building itself was dismal.

First impression of dingy staircase was dismay but on opening door of apartment found it bright, clean, newly refurbished and very well equipped. Brand new modern fittings were greatly appreciated.

We found the key box vety hard to open, it took us about 10 minutes. When I phoned the owner for help he just told is to be forceful with it. That did work after a big effort. The nice coffee pod machine had only empty pods in it and I couldn't find the brand required when I went to buy a new supply. The pop- art work was a bit overpowering and not to my taste. The colour and texture of the bedclothes is not pleasing but these are petty points. I would suggest the addition of scissors to the kitchen equipment and instructions for kitchen appliances. Luckily I have a similar hob to the one in the apartment so could work it but without my help the friend with me would not have been able to use it. The location is very convenient for the station but being out of the town, people using the apartment really need a car.

The property was completely immaculate inside. Very modern and exceptionally clean. We arrived with most things we needed however there was a lot already provided like coffee, tea etc.

Nothing really. The outside looks a bit rough, however the inside more than made up for that. It certainly wouldn’t stop me booking again.

The location was perfect and the house is family friendly. The host helped us in every way possible.

The interior of the building was a little run down although the apartment itself was in very good condition.
