The facilities were good.

But I saw so many ants. I asked the staff to do it, but they said Sunday is off and there was no cleaning light, so I did it. Without Clean & Bugs It's Good House.

They have a comfortable mattress. Clean, tidy and functional apartment. Cleaning services was every second and the cleaning lady was very polite.

The day after my check-in I was accused by the host of breaking the doorknob. I was left shocked! I explained to her that if she has damage claims against me it needs to be raised through booking.com as per the policy and the claim will get resolved through booking.com. The next day I woke up and she brought a handyman who was requesting payment from me. He didn’t even fix the door knob and was requesting payment, first 1,000php then all of a sudden he said it will be 2,800php. I requested the owner contact me at which point the owner said for them to leave it and not charge me. It was quite a stressful experience, especially after travelling for so long on two flights and then a 2 hour car ride to this place from Mactan airport, the tiredness and jet lag and then on top of that for some man and lady to be in front of me threatening me to pay them for some ludicrous claim. The handyman didn’t end up fixing it so I stayed there till the day before my checkout with no doorknob. Luckily the top lock was still working so I could at least lock the door. They eventually fixed it the day before my checkout at 8.30am in the morning. Check-in - it was a grumpy introduction and check-in, the lady was extremely rude actually. She gave me the wrong room even if all the other apartments were empty. I told her I have a 2 bed apartment booked (as per my details on booking.com) and she gave me a 1 bed and said I need to pay extra if I want a 2 bed even if I booked one with 2 beds. When I asked for WiFi she provided the password with annoyance. When I accessed the room all the sliding doors were unlocked and she didn’t even tell me these need locking. It was a ground floor flat so anyone could just have walked in! I don’t know why the owner has this lady as a staff member when her attitude is in stark contrast with Filipino people. For a hospitality job surely there are other people in town better fit for the job. Location - I guess this depends on the purpose of your visit.

The property has been gradually constructed, between 2015 and 2020. Without exception, the building materials and the quality of the interior fixtures are far superior to most places we stayed in the Philippines. Our one-bedroom unit was very spacious with ample space (maybe even a little too much) and with all the amenities one could ask for. A lovely host who, along with her staff, were very keen to help and to please.

We had difficulty finding the place for two reasons. Google Maps was wrong in its location and though that's not the fault of the property, having a sign on the outside of the building would have helped immensely.

Everything was good except for the location. It's 2 hours drive from the City. The staff were very good and helpful. The area was very clean and the aircon was good. The only thing , the internet was on and off.
