The property is very clean and modern with a good amount of space. It is motel style with rooms having windows onto a shared parking space (which is behind a gate, away from the road). The room has a kitchenette inside it, and the breakfast they provided was to give us a range of foods to cook ourselves - this was a generous amount, covering a lot of different kinds of breakfast! The property is a short walk from the centre of Coyhaique (around 15 minutes).

Everything was fine. It did feel a bit like you needed to prearrange a time for the manager to be in reception, which wouldn't suit all travellers. The property is in a very quiet location, a walk away from the main part of town, which wouldn't suit all travellers.

We loved our stay at the Rumbo Sur. We rented the two bedroom two bathroom duplex for one night. We had access to a green space which allowed us to dry our wet tents and gear after completing a trek through Cerro Castillo National Park. The duplex was spotless and included clean towels, fresh linens, and toiletries. There was more than enough room for our group of 5. We especially enjoyed the fresh breakfast supplies already on our counter and in our fridge: Fresh bread, eggs, coffee, yogurt, milk, juice, butter, and of course, MANJAR! This was a much better experience than eating at a common buffet with other guests as I have experienced at other places. The receptionist was delightful, attentive, and helpful. We felt welcomed and free to come and go as we desired.

We needed a bit more toilet paper than was provided.
