Pietra Azzurra, Newly Renovated

We stayed for five nights. It has a lovely old world feel about it. Our gracious host called by and made us feel welcome. The apartment is wonderfully spacious. The balcony has a wonderful view to the western sunset. The restaurant next door, though busy, was quiet.

Though the collection of antiques is charming, it would have been nice to have had one or two clear surfaces to put our things. As the TV is not connected, it serves no purpose; removing it would enhance the spectacular view through the windows. The photos seem like they were taken quite some time ago. It seems to be more of a holiday home than guest accommodation. The apartment manager may have taken her eye off this one.

Fantastic views

some times the music in the trattitore was a little loud. It is outside our door.

This magical apartment overlooks the beautiful village of Corniglia. Although this town is a bit harder to get to (382 steps…. Or a shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes or so) it is much more peaceful and we’ll located to the trail to Vernazza). There are plenty of restaurant and a few small grocery stores chalked full with local offerings. The apartment was charming and the views priceless ( loved the small deck). The apartment was well purposed and comfy. We had very good communications with the property manager and felt well cared for. I hope to return to this place in the future!

The view was amasing. Nice and coosy studio. And it was like living with my granmother. A lot of funny porcelæn. 💙

The veiw was amazing and the room was lovely and we felt welcomed by the set up of the room even though there was no one there to welcome us.

You had to enter the accommodation through a setting area for a bar/restaurant and it felt like we were in the restaurant and there was a lack of privacy. Sometimes you would walk out into people sitting at the door eating and it felt like you were intruding on their space. This is the only down side to the accommodation as all else was lovely.

Beautiful view. Lovely location. Evenings on the balcony were great. Nice to have a washing machine on site. The adjacent bar served a nice breakfast every morning.

The apartment is adjacent to a bar (had to walk through the bar to get to the door) so there was loud music until 11pm. There was also a smell of smoke in the apartment every evening.
