"Lovely location, spacious living area and a very comfy bed"

8.0

Lovely location right opposite Criccieth Castle, which is lit up at night and can be seen from one of the windows. The apartment was on the top floor and there was plenty of parking just opposite. The living space was very spacious with 2 sofas and a wall mounted TV. There was a well equipped kitchen area with fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and even a dishwasher (not that I needed it). There was a separate dining table with a lovely view of the sea from the other window. The bedroom was large with an extremely comfy bed and a wardrobe with lots of hangers! There was a nice en-suite shower room too, the water was hot and the shower pressure very good. A bookcase on the lower landing offered a range of books to read. The apartment was very warm and cosy despite the awful weather. The WiFi worked and was easy to connect to. Sally was very friendly and on hand if I needed anything. I was also able to stay a bit later on checkout day as there was no one coming in to the apartment that day, which was appreciated.

It was nice (and quite unusual) to have 2 sofas in a 1 bed apartment, however the springs had sagged a bit. Easily remedied by adding one of the throw cushions under the sofa cushion. If you are short like me, you need to wave your arms a bit while taking a shower to keep the motion sensor light on, definitely keep the door open and the bedroom light on just in case! That didn't spoil the nice hot shower though, so just a minor thing really.

"1st trip to North Wales, fantastic stay"

10.0

Amazing stay in July, we had a very relaxing break in the top floor. The apartment, views and location were fantastic. Sea view from one window and castle, which is lit up at night, through the other. Didn't switch TV on at all with those views and with quirky book area on middle floor where can borrow books from. Apartment had everything we needed. 3 night break and spotted the dolphins twice in that time. Beach couple of minutes wander down the road, loved swimming in the sea each day. Sally was lovely and very helpful. Definitely hope to return.

Loved it all

Fantastic self catering apartment in a great loaction with views of Criccieth castle and the sea. Sally the host was very friendly and helpful and the apartment has all the facilities you could require.

Parking was a bit of problem but no fault of the owner. There is free on road parking and a layby opposite the property but rarely were the any spaces even later in the day. It was the Bank holiday weekend though so it was probaly at its busiest and we did manage on one day to park further away.
