Sunnydaze-detached chalet with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and private parking outside door

Lovely and clean when we walked in. Melissa the host was very helpful in helping to arrange the delivery of medical oxygen for a member of the party, ready for our arrival. An excellent and well appreciated service. The chalet itself was clean and comfortable with everything you need. A nice decent sized fridge was lovely too see, all the kitchen utensils were lovely and clean. The oven hob and dishwasher all worked really well. All cleaning items including the pods for the dishwasher were provided for use. The shower in the main bathroom was lovely and spacious and excellent water pressure. Beds were nice and comfy and the additional blankets in the cupboards was much appreciated with the colder September nights. The tv is a smart tv and meant we could watch Netflix.

The supplied Pillows were quite thin. But as we always take our own pillows when we go away this wasn't an issue for us.

Location excellent and the chalet position in the park was fantastic. Own parking bay right by the door with an extra private 'outdoor' area with 2 benches which we sat at most evenings whilst the sun went down. The position is perfect for late afternoon/early evening as in the full sun until late. Large spacious and spotlessley clean chalet - plenty of storage/drawers/wardrobe space. Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils/crockery etc you could wish for. Milk sachets in the fridge on arrival and tea/coffee/sugar in the canisters was a lovely plus. Toilet rolls/handsoaps/tea towels/dishcloths and bathroom towels provided - although we took our own toilet rolls etc as we wouldn't expect a host to provide a week's worth. Washing machine and dishwasher in situ if needed. Games and lots of Dartmouth/area leaflets/books and hairdryer provided. Great size TV and 2 x 2 seater sofas for comfy evenings. Hooks on doors etc were useful for towels/coats etc. All of the chalet is beautifully decorated with lovely beach/sea ornaments/decorations/mirrors/clocks. Both showers/bathrooms were great - fabulous shower heat/power. Great set up with the electric meter - taking £1 or £2 coins. On arrival, there was about £9.50 already on the meter and when we departed, we topped it up to the same amount. Only cost us about £15 max in electric. Great supply of cups/large mugs/cafetieres and quality crockery and pans provided. Bus service runs right outside the park - going towards Dartmouth literally on the Norton Park entrance and opposite way is opposite by the gate almost opposite. Other buses stop 20 mins away by the Park and Ride. Great location for getting about in the car. Really lovely place to stay and 100% recommend.

Not complaining at all - as just 2 of us so it was manageable but freezer was a bit small - a full size fridge freezer would be even better. The 'guest' book for arrival would have been great if it had been out on the side/the table so we would have been able to read it on arrival, whereas we found it on the last morning as it was under the tin foil in the bottom kitchen drawer (perhaps we should've looked in all the drawers). We managed fine but didn't know we could use the sea equipment under the bed in the bedroom or in the bench storage outside. The book would be needed more in colder weather when using the heaters / temperatures etc. So you know, we couldn't close the main bathroom window properly and 2 of the side plates had a chip on them (already done when we arrived). None of this impacted our stay whatsoever. Melissa and Carl have a beautiful chalet and we will be telling everyone to book !

Very comfortable, it had everything you need it. Very clean and very quiet.

Maybe a bath mat in shower would be great cos it gets very slippy.

We stayed here because of the positive reviews and photos of the accommodation. Both were accurate, the facilities are extensive and everything was very clean and comfortable. Sunnydaze is a home from home. The kitchen is very well equipped and all in working order, we cooked everyday. Good washing machine and dishwasher. The walk in shower is big and water hot with good pressure, the rest of the bathroom facilities are very good too. Comfortable sofas, good TV and internet made for relaxing evenings. The 92 bus stops at the entrance of Norton Park that goes to Dartmouth and Totnes (for the train station) We did manage without a car. Overall fabulous accommodation with everything for a comfortable stay.

There are no facilities on Norton Park so it's probably better and easier with a car especially going out in the evening to Dartmouth. Although this didn't spoil our holiday using public transport it did mean we had to come back from Dartmouth on the last bus at 8pm

Everything was clean and well laid out, there was everything you could need like you were home.
