LOHAS Villa Hiriketiya

The villa is on the hill, 5 minutes walk from the beach but far enough away to have peace and relaxation, and has everything you need in Hiri. Indika is a wonderful woman, she will make your stay in Lohas as pleasant as possible and she cooks amazing! We had a mishap on the last night and both she and her husband made sure everything was okay. If I come back to Hiriketiya, I will definitely stay with her.

Lohas villa is a very calm and peaceful villa away from the crowds. We really enjoyed the calmness and the hosts are very lovely 😊 The house is very comfortable and the bed and shower were very good! The beach, restaurants and shops are on walking distance 😊 I highly recommend this place! ❤️ Thanks a lot for the nice stay! 🙏

A lovely place to stay in Hiriketiya - loads of space and everything you need.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, clean linings, clean Bathroom and kitchen, equipped kitchen, Good terrace, AC, Fan, Loggia Place, Nice Floor -I see the efforts they try to put in this area

-Long walk from the centre/beach without any street Lights and I didnt feel very safe walking there -No Breakfast is included which wasnt clearly explained on the German version of their booking site (probably fault from Booking.com) -A lot of dogs barking -Party music sounds at night from far neighboured places -No atm in the village - the old lady who lives there and doesn‘t speak english. The owner is only reachable via WhatsApp which makes the Communication very intensively and very annoying and stressful -No privacy is respected (old lady often looks through fence) -No nice view from the terrace (constructions around) -For me it was not worth the money and totally overpriced!!! (I expected price reduction and better Customer Service which I didnt get) In Sri Lanka for that price you are always getting much more benefits (views, transportation, breakfast, Pool, Service etc) -I worked for the German Tourist Association and am now working for an NGO (also with Projects in Sri Lanka), and I See a lot of room for improvement. I wanted to leave, but I see the challenges in Sri Lanka (Inflation, economic crises, electricity…) and I wanted to support the place. -All in all, the place was too overpriced for what you get and I don‘t think I can recommend… :/

Great private spot just up the hill. Your own terrace with a lot of privacy to watch the monkeys in the trees. The host is absolutely great. She was the sweetest and helped us with everything and she makes the best breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Lohas Villas are spacious, comfortable and looked after by the owners mother who is truly delightful. She is always smiling and is tireless in making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Situated a little back from the beachside bustle of Hiriketiya it feels like true Sri Lanka. Monkeys in the trees, peacocks roaming the garden and Lilly the dog are your neighbours.

Very quite, very friendly people, very clean - we absolutely enjoyed our stay

Hosts were lovely, we only stayed one night so not a lot of add, beds were comfy as had one extra bed for our children, bathrooms was a great size, its set back off the beach so its quiet but you can still hear the noise a bit of the parties but not bad enough to stop sleep. parking and terrace were ok, no sunshine for drying wet clothes so much unless you went outside of the garden area.

Lohas Villa is a great location in Hiriketiya Surfing Beach, few minutes walk to the beach. Calm and serene environment without any disturbances.The breakfast was very delicious. Highly recommended for travelers with brilliant experience.
