"Good"

The house itself had been done up lovely and was very comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 5.

The list of charges for breakages etc in the book made us feel like we were living on eggshells, it made us only want to use the bare minimum. Not that we intentionally ever break anything but seemed very over the top and not something we had seen before. Also the reason we stay in places like this is because of visiting family and have never not been able to invite them over for a cup of tea but to read a sign stating there would be an £80 fee for anyone passing the threshold has totally put us off ever booking again. Everyone we mentioned this to were as surprised as us. There was also a pair of dirty socks not belonging to us behind the bathroom door which did make us wonder how thorough a clean it had before we arrived.

"Nice house but the literature could be more welcoming."

Comfortable beds. Welcome pack. Neat and clean. Good parking.

The handbook was officious and made us feel uncomfortable with what we thought were unnecessary references to faeces, genatalia and vomit- for example, "Please do not vomit down the wall...or smear the apartment with your stool. Our guests who do not they can act as human beings, we send a message as a first warning. " There were also 12 pages of itemised fees for any damaged appliances, which made it difficult to relax because we worried about breaking things. If the toilet roll holder broke the charge was £15, plus a £25 service fee. We have never seen this in any accommodation that we have stayed in.

Lovely property, spotlessly clean and parking right next to it. Beds were very comfortable and all the bedrooms were roomy.
