Cozy with Character Vibrant Cottage Style Flat at Leith Links Park

The apartment was so lovely with great natural light and large comfortable bedrooms. While the living area is smallish it was perfect for our needs and well equipped. Appreciated the washer/dryer facilities as well as ice being available for our welcome g&t! Great also to have access to a sunny garden. Lovely neighbourhood and we loved getting to meet the local friendly cats as well as appreciated the beautiful gardens everywhere. Free parking was a bonus although would recommend parking a few streets away on larger roads if driving a larger vehicle as the street the property is on is quite narrow and tricky to park in...although we loved its quaintness! Communications with the owner were excellent and extremely responsive and access to the property was easy and straightforward. We loved our time in Leith and the property is a perfect place to access Edinburgh city and surrounds. Easy access to the bus into town and short walking distance to shops and local restaurants and cafes. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy such a beautiful part of Edinburgh.

Potentially to have a longer shower curtain is the only thing we can think of to improve a fabulous place.

Quiet location with a public park nearby, perfect for walking our dog. The appartment is cosy with all the decorations, but also well equipped. The fastest wi-fi of our holiday in Scotland.

Although I had specified five guests arriving, only four beds were made on arrival, so we had to improvize the first night. This was swiftly fixed the next day.

was it cozy yes,did it have caricature yes, loved the handmade kitchen units,and the stocked fireplace, did we all love it yes, it was not noisy, and the host went out of there way to accommodate anything we might have needed, not a great walking distance to the city centre, Wi fi um best to take a picture of the code on the bottom of the router,and copy and paste that in, as we had problems, key safe opened with the girls help,a man thing,and coffee please next time, a lot of attention to detail, thank you for sugar and tea, salt and pepper, sheets smelt lovely thank you

please add some coffee, sugar the little extras were very much appreciated, pasta,noodles ect not that we used them

It's a lovely property with a lot of character. Location is fantastic with great bus connections across Edinburgh.

Maybe worth rethinking guidance re waste ? Guidance is "take your waste away". When we arrived both outside bins were full. I put recycling bin out having checked the council website re dates. That worked fine. There was nowhere outside the property to dispose of other waste - we ended up taking away in car which is less than ideal.

We loved the atmosphere and the homely flat. Any time again!
