We really enjoyed staying at Ben and Ollies pad next to Holyrood Park! It is a cosy little flat, very tastefully furnished with everything we needed. We felt at home immediately and very much like a local. Because I was ill prior to our trip to Edinburgh and still a little under the weather we asked if we could move out dates by one and Ben and Ollie were very helpful and accommodating with this -thanks so much again! The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac -the other flats were all local residents- and right next to the beautiful park at the bottom of the Royal Mile. It was ever so convenient to get around walking or catch the bus just a little further up the street. There were also great places for breakfast nearby. Within the flat itself, we loved that it was very neat and clean and it felt loved with some sweet little items such as the tiger -loved it :)! Thanks again for having us, Simone and Chris.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and provided everything we needed for our stay. It was comfortable and though small, made excellent use of the space. We also liked its situation close to Holyrood Park.

Although we managed to find a parking space, it would certainly be difficult at a busier time of year.

Cosy little flat for a couple. Everything you could need was available. Bed is comfy. Good shower pressure. Excellent information about area.

Going into the property is dark, dingy and a bit dirty. Be aware as no lift and stairs are a bit uneven. We did get parking but is hit or miss. Wet room is Very small and tight.

The property was like a little haven - beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a home away from home. Super easy check in with the keys in the key box, and all the info conveniently received before we arrived. The hosts were also readily available via Whatsapp to help with any questions, which added that personal touch we appreciate.

The apartment was slightly further away from the town centre than we had anticipated, about a 23 minute walk. When booking it this didn't seem like much but after walking around Edinburgh all day, we ended up calling a taxi as it was just a little too far to then also walk. The taxi was only about £7 though, which was fine with us.

Design and furnishings were well thought out and modern. Good shower pressure. Good bathroom mirror. Quiet street and good blinds on windows to keep out morning light. Very clean, tidy and minimalist.

No coffee machine which I would expect in a self-service apartment in 2022 in a capital city to be honest. Only instant coffee. The bed was a little smaller than we are used to (standard double) and the mattress slightly dipped in the middle. No big mirrors, especially no seated mirror to do your hair or make-up and no plugs in the bathroom so not super female-friendly/long hair friendly.
