Modern & bright 1 bed for 4 close to city centre!

Amazing location, very close to central Edinburgh. The way up to the apartment is a bitch sketchy looking but the apartment looks great.

One thing I'd say is that the building itself is not very accessible. The apartment is on the second floor and you have to go up the stairs all the way there.

This is beyond unacceptable for a Booking.com listing. My booking clearly indicated three guests, which I did not think would be a problem as the listing states the apartment can sleep four guests. Upon arrival, we discovered the duvet and pillowcases for the third guest were without bedsheets. The pillows were clearly worse for wear as they were discolored, but that is beside the point. I immediately contacted the property, stating there were no bedsheets provided for the guest and asking if this could be rectified in the morning. The third guest had to sleep on the pull-out couch with only the two towels provided as "make-do" bedsheets for what she thought would be one night. In the morning, I called the number I was provided with for the company multiple times to rectify the situation and was left on hold for over 10 minutes each time I called with no answer. I messaged the company multiple times but still got no reply. After 36 hours and another night of sleeping on just two towels, we finally heard back from a representative explaining that it was a mix-up with the cleaning company and that they would drop off bed sheets during the day. When we arrived back at the apartment that evening, unsurprisingly, there were no bedsheets delivered. One guest had to sleep on towels as blankets for the whole duration of the stay, which is beyond unacceptable. It was also evident that there is a complete lack of standards when it comes to the cleanliness of the apartment, as upon arrival there was a hairball in the main bedroom. What had the potential to be a great stay and a fun weekend was completely hampered by this. This truly dampened our entire experience

I enjoyed the entire experience. Since we traveled around the country, we stayed in 3 other "hotels" before this one, and those others can't hold a light to this place. This apartment was not only a fantastic price for the location, but moreso the apartment was clean, nice, and the communication with the property owner was succinct and thorough. We would absolutely stay again!

We were fine with it but it was interesting having a washer in the room, but no dryer. We didn't intend to wash out clothes during our stay, but that was unexpected.
