City Centre Stylish Apartment With Free Parking

Free parking in the city and the rooms were very nice.

Had some trouble with hot water. Our stay was only for a single night, so it was not a big deal.

Well-equipped one bedroom apartment, spacious, well-equipped kitchen including full cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Free parking (using permit provided by host) was a particular bonus and a specific reason why I chose this apartment. Close to a number of supermarkets for supplies, or restaurants, take always and coffee shops. Easy walking distance to all Edinburgh’s attractions and fringe venues in old town particularly.

Sorry Tom but I wasn’t a fan of the grey jersey bed linen.

Very clean and tidy, quiet area

The TV was not working

Peacefullness (except that the front door entrance of the building was smatched by some of the residents) We like to be close to the Salisbury Craig and have a hike there

I think that in the kitchen 2 high chairs will be needed to fit with the kitchen table

The flat was clean, well presented and in a quiet residential area. The onsite carpark was great and could see my car from the kitchen window. The host had also kindly provided some toiletries, iron, ironing board, umbrellas, towels, coffee etc which were all appreciated.

This is in no way meant as a reflection on the flat or the host, just feedback on my own individual stay on what would have made it better. - When leaving you put the keys back into the key box outside and are instructed to change the key code number. I had never done this before so had to find you tube video to figure out how to do it. Host may wish to provide an instruction card on how to do this for future guests. - The communal hallway area of the building (not the flat) as you walk in through the main door to the building to go up stairs to the flat, could do with a clean and to be re-decorated. I hope the host can arrange this with the building management as his flat is lovely but on first impressions on arrival, the condition of the communal hallway did shock me a bit.

Spacious apartment, clean and comfortable.

The appartment is within walking distance of central/old town Edinburgh, near University. Nevertheless it's quiet and has parking, and it's perfectly furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay

Loud music at night in surrounding apartments and no bedding for the sofa bed, except for a duvet that had stains on it
