Directions were easy

We cldnt get immediate access so had to unload in the road. But it was only off cos it was pouring with rain

The location was excellent and within good walking distance of everything we needed, including restaurants, a grocery store, the National Galleries of Scotland: Portrait Museum and the Royal Military Tattoo.

Location was ideal. Very spacious and perfect for a group of 5 adults.

The beds in the room with 2 single beds were uncomfortable and made lots of noise with even the slightest movement. Fortunately there were enough beds that we moved rooms. Instructions for central heating use for overseas guests would have been helpful, as we felt the cold in a Scottish summer.

Location was fab, it was perfect for a group with all the single beds and 3 bathrooms, great facilities.

The smoke alarm was too sensitive and went off when just making toast, nearly every time.

Lots of space, and three bathrooms was a gift. Hot water worked very well. Great location, and very quiet. TV worked great; common area is very comfortable. Loved that there was a hairdryer available. It was a good landing spot for us for a couple of days before moving on to our main lodging for the month. Ground floor so it was nice and cool. Big hill to climb every day, but if you're mobile, it's a very walkable area; I had a nice stroll around the neighborhood. Good restaurant/pub nearby.

Wifi was terrible; constantly getting kicked off or it couldn't be found on our devices. Wifi network listed in the guidebook on the table is not the current Wifi network, so we had to go find the Wifi to get the correct network, which, as I said, mostly didn't work. Data reception (when I finally gave up on the Wifi) was challenging as it's a ground floor surrounded by a stone courtyard (though data signal was fine outside in the courtyard). Very musty when we got in- beds were made and clean towels put out, but there was leftover takeout in the fridge from previous guests and the coffee maker didn't work.

Toilet not clean, bad ventilation, lights are dim, cell service zero. No front entrance.
