Heritage City - Central New Town Apartment

Ideal location for exploring Edinburgh. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, the kids loved being in the big bedroom all together. Seemed to be well equipped.

We felt the property is showing signs of being a rental with a quick turnaround time; it isn’t especially clean and the carpets/furniture are well worn and a little grubby in places.

Great for the 8 of us. Plenty of room without being on top of each other. 3 bathrooms was added bonus. Great location certainly will use again if back in the city

Horrid horrid odor akin to cat urine and stained carpet

The host/owner wasn't available on call when we had an emergency. We had to go through so much of physical and mental duress due to the emergency which was. Bathroom pipe burst.

Excellent location in the center of town, easy walking to shops, restaurants, and Princess Street. We were leaving on a tour from the bus station and it was very close and convenient.

Great location within easy access to the city centre. Fairly quiet and close to tram and bus .

The mattresses on the whole were a bit poor quality and not so comfortable. The hairdryer which was supplied did not work. The standard of cleaning could have generally been better, particularly in the bathrooms. The bin in the main bathroom needed a proper clean as was dirty.

Central location although it is not York Place but rather Dublin Street. Lounge is spacious and we enjoyed gathering there. Water pressure great in shower. Easy check-in.

First impression was pervading smell of damp, low ceilings (very difficult for our guys over 6 feet), dark warren. Have to enter via crumbling uneven courtyard after bumping over cobblestone back street. No instructions for Nespresso machines nor coffee pods provided (we Googled and found a shop). Beds hard and noisy. No hairdryer or clothes dryer.
