JOIVY Beautiful 2-BR mews near the famous Princes Street

Very comfortable apartment. Comfy beds and pillows, good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, nice shower with plenty of hot water, comfortable lounge, nice to have 2 separate sofas when four people are staying. Plenty of storage. Quiet location.

Obtaining a key to get into the property. After a long journey, the last thing you want is a long trek with suitcases, possibly children in tow, unable to walk very far or in the pouring rain/bad weather to go and find your key. We had to phone for a code number, the find an address of where to pick up the key, give the person the code we had been given and then we were given our keys. Then a considerable walk to the actual property. You have to do all this in reverse when you have to return the key at the end of your stay. Crazy setup. Most of the other properties in the Mews Road had Key Locks by the front door. This would have been so appreciated. The other gripe we had was; the extremely squeaky door hinges/door closers. So noisy, especially the bedrooms when everyone is asleep, they actually woke people up. Some maintenance is required please.

It was a great location, quiet and safe. We loved it!

The house is generally clean.

The house has more dislikes than likes. It has a very strong smell, possibly because the windows haven’t been opened for a long time. Additionally, you have to walk a long way to pick up and drop off the keys. After a long journey, the last thing you want is to walk more than 15 minutes uphill to get the keys and return them. Plus, taking out the rubbish involves walking a long distance to the bin after checking out

The flat was perfect for our needs and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Cute garden views out back.

Having to collect the keys from the company office is a nuisance.

Lovely 2 bed apartment - easy process collecting the keys from the office about 20 minutes from the property. Apartment is in an excellent location in new town. Walking distance to everything. Lots of space and good facilities.

Nothing wrong but be aware you need to drop the keys back off to the office
