Art studio au bord de la mer

Very good value. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Staff very friendly. Location very good. Upstairs bed very comfy. Large space and nice outside space. For the low price it was good value just small things could improve.

The bathroom smelt very strong. The downstairs single bed was uncomfortable. It could have been a bit cleaner- for example cup was dirty to drink from.

Nice decoration, good environment.

The bathroom, specifically the shower, was not really comfortable since there was not a proper space for it. There was only the handle of the shower in one of the corners of the room, next to the toilet.

The studio is situated in a highly advantageous location within the heart of the Portuguese quarter, providing easy access to convenience stores, seafood restaurants, the local market, and the beach, all within a 10-minute walk. The surrounding atmosphere is exceptionally welcoming. The studio offers three terraces for your enjoyment. The lowest one provides a secluded spot for a delightful meal away from neighboring views. The second terrace boasts a stunning view of the sunset and the entire cityscape of El Jadida. The third and highest terrace overlooks the port. The interior decoration is of the highest quality, featuring pieces sourced from various regions of Morocco. This includes beautiful Zemmouri carpets, rattan lighting pendants, wall mirrors, handwoven sofa covers, and intricate tile work, creating a soothing and warm ambiance. The kitchenette is well-equipped with glassware, tableware, cutlery, a coffee machine, and an electric kettle.

The restroom is somewhat small and not very practical, although it is clean. It would be ideal to include toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. Adding books about the history of the region or El Jadida to the bookshelves would be a valuable addition, allowing visitors to gain insight into the rich history of the area.

Ambiance is great and the loft at the top we had is spacious and well lit compared to other places we’ve stayed. Hosts are friendly and will try to please as much as possible. We came in the winter when there’s nobody here and we had it to ourselves.

Access is finicky as you have to get keys elsewhere which wasn’t entirely communicated to us beforehand. The actual keys to enter the Riad and the unit are also tricky to use and it takes a few minutes every time to get in and out.
