Appart Hôtel Pyramides El Jadida

Like the photos online, the place looked neat and clean, recently renovated, and gave a good first impression. The apartment is spacious and sunny, with large windows and a nice-sized balcony. There are 2 AC/Heating units, one in the living room area, the other in the bedroom. Unfortunately, the one in the bedroom didn’t work.

Those attractive tiles covering the entire floor of the apartment became dangerously slippery with the slightest bit of water. Taking a shower was risking your life! No bath mat was provided, so we had to use up one of our towels for that. But, with no shower curtain, it wasn’t enough to prevent most of the bathroom floor from flooding. So, we used all but one of the towels to mop it up. There was no maid service during our two-night stay, and the staff were indifferent. By far my biggest complaint is about the shoddy plumbing and the terrible sewer gas that resulted from it. There was a gap between the toilet drain and the floor tile. Just one example of the very poor craftsmanship throughout.

The room was clean. Friendly staff members. The location is good.
