The hosts were very friendly welcoming us with a raki. A lot of thoughts had been put in to make the place comfortable. It was very quiet at night

"WARNING They give you the wrong directions."

The bathtoom is really nice. Very new, modern and good design. Apart for that, the room is as advertised and very clean.

WARNING: The directions are WRONG. The map of the property's page on booking.com app and website is WRONG. They show a place in a small village in the moutains with a very simliar name. From there it takes nearly 1 hour to walk to Arches Eleftherna or 10 min. by bus, but only 2 buses a day and obviously no taxi or uber. But first you have to work out where it really is. I've pointed this out to the landlady serveral times, but she doesn't seem to care. I've waited 2 months before writing this review, but she still hasn't fixed the problem.

Julie made us so welcome. We were with friends who stayed in the lower apartment (which was very big). Both apartments were very well equipped and if there was anything extra we needed all we had to do was ask.

"Wonderdul even with a rainy day"

Feeling home away from home. Charming couple who make you feel like you are visiting family and very helpful. They say in their welcome book that we can ask anything and it is proven. Also good to stay many days as a base. Close to beach, Rethymon, Iraklios and many interesting villages in the mountain.

"A great place to stay, but possibly not in winter, and a bit pricey given that it is strictly an ensuite bedroom"

Wonderful hostess and partner and a very warm welcome. Great views from the property. An ideal place to stay for exploring ancient Eleftherna. The room was spotlessly clean.

The bedroom struggled to get warm, and the lounge with tv was chilly. Would have been great if the tv was in the bedroom and there was a kitchenette to prepare some simple meals. This was especially so in winter when all the tavernas in the village were closed and the only one which opened had a limited menu.
