The accommodation is small but cozy. It is not inside the main medina so the noise is tolerable. Everything good that is said about the accommodation is true. Enjoy your stay.

The stairs! If you are with a young family, hauling the bags up the stairs can be a problem and the accommodation can be hard to find. Please communicate with the owner via WhatsApp to get the specific instructions to your accommodation.

Location is great

Amazing stay at dar said apartment! Definitely recommend for travelling in a group. There was one room with double bed and bathroom (just shower) and second room with two single beds there is huge coach in the living room as well where you can easily sleep. There is a spacious bathroom with a shower. There is kitchen well equipped if you need it. Spacious fridge. The location of the apartment is great! Close to the beach and there is many streets with restaurants and stores. The owner of the apartment is lovely. He speaks English so you can communicate with him easily. He organised a pick up from the airport (group of 5 people) with no problem. We also went to Marakesh with him since it was more comfortable than a bus and almost the same price. We stayed in Marakesh over night and then we picked us up the next day. On the way back we had a stop at the dessert to ride camels (we asked if it is possible and he booked it for us in advance) we had a rest with marocan tea and went back to essaouira - no rush at all, lovely day. If you want to do any activities strongly recommend to ask the owner since he can get you better prices sometimes. He also let us leave our luggage after check out time and we picked it up just before going to the airport so that was very helpful.

The position in the Medina, in a small square, was easy to get to and travel around. Close to the city gate and petite taxis, the fishing harbour and all the Medina attractions. Easy to use petite taxis (7MAD fixed) to go along the beach to cool bars. Lovely living area looking over the square, where we would relax and read our books. Kitchen fully equipped and a washing machine...excellent!

Very close to the mosque, so you will be woken before 5am by the prayers. Beds are very small...but comfortable. At 6 feet 2, I found the bed cramped. Lots of steep steps up to the apartment. Difficult to find, so use a barrow man at the gate to take your cases....they know the way!
