Everything perfect

The property was really nice, in the heart of a botanical garden and the swimming pool has definitely been an added value!

The accommodation itself was a bit simple, the kitchen was outside and wasn’t really well equipped and the fridge was super loud, we had to turn it off during the night.

It’s a modest but beautiful property

Missing shade at the pool, and couchions in the sun beds. This would have been a nice upgrade with a sun umbrella and some soft surfaces

The gardens are quite lovely, and the pool, and guest lounge area have a lovely ambience

Sadly, it was not good value for money. The staff seemed aloof, not welcoming. Yes, there is a language barrier, with the reception staff having very little English, and us having no Italian, (we only speak English, French, Flemish, and some Spanish). We weren't given any information about the hotel. The wifi was not working when we arrived, but we also were not told that the wifi (when it does work) only works in the guest lounge area. Mobile data signal was sketchy. We were not given a wifi password and it was only when I was in the guest lounge and saw a staff member to ask if the wifi that popped up did belong to the place and what was the password. I am working while travelling, and needed access to the internet not only for work, but for future accommodation bookings. Having to take the computer to an outdoor pavillion (guest lounge) in 40 degrees heat, with no fans and my glasses fogging up was really untenable. I imagine it would also be annoying if it were raining. There seemed to be a bar/drinks area in the guest lounge, but we had no idea of the prices, or when it was open. It just wasn't communicated to us. Our two bedroom accommodation was nice, but basic. The only power points in our room were for the 2 bedside lights, so if we needed to charge our camera batteries (again, for work), we had no bedside light. The toilet paper is just cheap squares like you find at a public school. We had no soap at our basin. No tea towel and no hot water tap in the kitchen, so difficult to wash anything up. I was very disappointed. This cost almost $500AUD per night, so it was a bit of a splurge on my 2 month trip, but compared to everywhere else I have stayed, it wasn't worth it. A lovely idea to ride bikes around the island, but they need to be hired from elsewhere, and it just wasn't good in the heatwave (obviously this can't be helped). But being away from everything, you need to have transport for food, water, etc.

Three location is very convenient to all the best beaches and the gardens are stunning. Truly unique to Favignana and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere - the grounds exceed expectations. The pool is fantastic and we found the staff very friendly. Given the limited options available on the island, I'd say this Giardino dell'impossibile is one of the best.

As others have mentioned, the units are a bit dated for what you pay. I would happily go back and stay in them as is for a slightly cheaper rate or with an extra amenity included, like breakfast, for the same cost. A little extra investment in the units or amenities would easily elevate this to four stars, but as is we still found it memorable.

Personnel are very professional and responsible. Everyone is trying to help. The garden in the hotel is amazing, it is a miracle. I can't even imagine how many efforts people have made to make such a beautiful place. This is the best place on the whole island .

The location alongside the beautiful garden is heavenly & worth a drive on the unpaved road. The rooms are spacious, the swimming pool is very good & the resting area fully designed & spacious.

the rooms need renovations, we could not close the sleeping room door , the curtains does not prevent light to enter the bedroom.
