Cava Rossa

They have e-bikes for rent. The apt is cozy with a well equipped kitchen. The host family is super sweet! They offered to pick me up from the port and dropped me off when it was the end of my stay.

The WiFi is spotty. But that is to be expected on a small island like this. The sheets were a bit rough for me. On the last night, my face was eaten up (5 bites!) by either spiders or mosquitos while I slept. It’s just a part of being out in nature I suppose!

We liked everything about this stay - the hosts and their pets made us feel very much at home - nice touches like a coffee every morning - the whole property is beautifully designed-e bikes to rent on site - very quiet and peaceful - we were picked up and dropped off at the ferry at no extra charges - this felt very much like a home stay. our hosts are lovely people who went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay .

The hospitality of the owner Giovanni and his family❤️ Location also very close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and also not so far from the city center. Very quiet and cozy place.

Not something we “didn’t like”, because you could just ask Giovanni and his family for it, and they would lend it to you, but we would recommend Giovanni to equip the rooms a little more with; • Kitchenware, especially wine glasses (because, it’s Italy😁) • Amenities, like shampoos and shower gels, because you never know. Otherwise, maybe would be nice to have a small sofa of some sort.
