Lalapanzi

The location is amazing, we watched the sunrise over the sea in the mornings from the beautiful deck. We were even lucky enough to see the elusive otters swimming and playing in the kelp. In front of the house. The entire apartment was spotlessly clean and very homely. Ingrid and Wayne have thoughtfully considered every aspect of the home, we have stayed in many airbnbs accommodations over the years and we always find something we haven’t packed or that a home hasn’t thought of, but this home has everything! From pegs, to scissors every tiny consideration has been thought of. We arrived from the UK with a suitcase of clothes and spent a fabulous 4 days with family in the house. Wayne is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and exceptionally helpful! It was a great start to our vacation and we would without a doubt book it again and recommend it others. A home away from home. The decoration is homely and tasteful, with a comfortable king bed in the main bedroom, the living room was comfortable and big enough for our family and my parents, the main bedroom and living have great views. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need to cook and we even had a BBQ and eat outside in one of two outdoor dining areas.

We loved it, however if you are unable to use stairs this is not for you. However, with these views - stairs are necessary and worth it!

Brazil nuts shortbread left in kitchen for us. The ocean view from windows and deck over the road and train tracks was nice.

Photos did not indicate train tracks and busy main road between the accomodation and the ocean. Pigeons roosting and scrabbling around on the fiberglass roof of the living room were very loud. Parking spot not for.big car and requires you to back out onto a busy main road. After first experience we oarked on road. We knew there would be stairs, but not a gate with faulty lock between the 2 flights to get to apartment. After 1/2 hour trying to open it we called the owner. After no reply we (pensioners in our late 60's) had to climb out over the rail and around the gate (over a 20 foot drop) to get to the next flight of stairs. On return with bags of groceries we repeated the process handing our groceries around the gate.and climbing over the rail. Later the owner provided instructions as to how to force the railing out to open the lock. On closing one of the sliding glass doors an aluminum slat fell hitting my arm.

Great views, good location, the Appartment was clean and very well appointed, modern, really nice

Parking was an issue so I chose to park on the street which was quite safe. For me security was a bit lacking

Noisy traffic and off street parking was a problem.

We found our stay very comfortable.. Had more than we expected.. Host where very helpful and nothing was any trouble when we needed to ask questions etc.

The shower was not 100% clean.. We found hair in the drain and the water took sometime to drain out.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The Views were amazing. The house has everything we needed to be comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen and enough board games to entertain ourselves.

The only thing not mentioned in the ad is that there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the main house.22 up to the first landing,32 up to the 2 bedroom apartment and another 15 up to the main houose.Think That was a bit difficult with bags and a 2 year old.
