The apartment is very spacious, clean and has a modern decor as well as all necessary appliances for a comfortable stay, and they all seem more or less brand new. We never used the TV or washer/dryer so I can't say much about those, what the TV service was like etc. We liked the high ceilings and wooden floors in the bedrooms and the living room. The block is fairly quiet with the most noise being heard Saturday evening during our stay, but on the other hand that was the last night of the Rum Regatta so residents and visitors moving in and out of the apartment block was to be expected. It is within easy reach of the town centre, a mere 10-15 minute walk, maybe a few minutes more coming back as it is uphill then. Parking in the surrounding area, on the street, was free and quite easy to find. The host is very easy to get in contact with and most helpful for all queries that you may have. I would definitely book again!

The hard stone floor in the kitchen gets very cold and as we used the kitchen seating area a lot, for both eating meals and playing cards/games and enjoying a drink or two, we eventually had to move the kitchen rug from it's place in front of the cooker and kitchen units to underneath the kitchen table instead. I think a rug should be placed under that table all the time actually. Not everyone thinks to pack thermal socks or slippers. The beds were quite comfortable but narrow, only 140 cm. In Scandinavia we are used to 180 cm width as standard, with 160 cm as a minimum for doublebeds. As a travelling company may be made up of friends and/or family members that are not necessarily a couple/married to each other twin beds or wider double beds would be preferable. As we brought our own bed linen it is also advisable to check with the host the size of beds, duvets and pillows, as we found the pillows in our bed to be far too big for our pillowcases. We managed to solve that problem with a couple of spare pillows we found in the wardrobe but it would have been good to know beforehand. Most of the pillows we use here in Sweden are 50 cm x 60 cm or 50 cm x 90 cm. This is just something to bear in mind, for both future guests and the hosts. Another suggestion would be to hang some sort of curtain or dark fabric on the inside of the front door as the frosted glass lets a lot of light through during the night, whenever someone enters or leaves the block and switches on the light in the stairwell.

Perfect loacation, nice place

Our stay at this holiday apartment in Flensburg was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of our host, Lukas, and the functional layout of the apartment. From the moment we arrived, Lukas ensured we felt at home. The apartment was thoughtfully arranged to suit our needs as a small family of three, with the provision of a baby cot and baby dishes. Lukas was always reachable and responsive to any questions we had, making us feel truly cared for and welcomed. The apartment itself was perfect for our family. It features two well-equipped bedrooms, a cosy living room, and a kitchen stocked with all the amenities we required. The layout is functional and well-organized, making it easy for us to settle in and enjoy our time there. The living spaces were comfortable and provided ample room for our toddler to play. One of the highlights of our stay was the apartment's proximity to the city centre. Located just 750 meters away, it was only an 11-minute walk to reach shops, restaurants, and attractions. This convenience allowed us to enjoy the best of Flensburg without the need for frequent car trips. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Flensburg. The combination of Lukas's exceptional hospitality and the apartment's functional layout made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. It is an ideal choice for families with young children looking for a welcoming and convenient place to stay. Thank you again Lukas for your hospitality. Great location for people who are fit to walk (uphill/St Jürgens stairs) less than 10min to the centre and Förde. Good bus connections that go straight to out of town beaches. The flat feels very homely and safe.

It’s a raised ground floor flat and can get chilly, so bring slippers.
