Fremantle Heaven

Location.

Hot water was dangerously hot and intermittent. Kitchen tap is loose, fly screens missing from window. Dining table chairs where falling apart and filthy. Tv remote and clock batteries flat. AC filters where filthy. Various light globes not working.

The location was absolutely amazing. It was my wife's first time in Fremantle and this place was perfect for us. The value for money location wise was great.

Unfortunately, on our second day we found out that our room had a cockroach infestation. The bathroom had roaches, they were coming out of the kitchen cupboards where the pots and pans were, and also coming out of the AC unit. That really affected our stay and made us feel really uncomfortable and unsafe, especially when sleeping. By the end of our stay, the roaches had made it all the way to our bed. We did raise this concern with the hotel in hopes of being given a new room but we were offered a visit by someone with some spray. And by then, I had already bought one and sprayed it in every corner of the room.

Nice design, comfortable space

The air con wasn't too powerful to cool down the entire apartment, so it was a bit warm in the bedroom, but not too bad given it was heat wave

Gorgeous sunset views from windows- but no flyscreens so bugs did come in - but it didn’t bother me. Felt very safe as so many people in nearby apartments which I liked as a single female traveller. Great location that wasn’t noisy at all. Bed was super comfortable. Couch really comfortable for watching tv. Full kitchen

There were a lot of small flying cockroaches - I counted 7 at once- would recommend insect repellent is put down and then it would be absolutely fine. Was an older property which I didn’t mind at all.

Nicely decorated apartment in a good location with parking adjacent to the building.

Heavy-duty locking of all doors in the building made us apprehensive about possible crime, tho none was encountered.
