Sky High on Arundel - central Fremantle apartment

Good location.Very clean.Transport links were very good.

Bathroom: No plug in sink. Wash basin and toilet were very low and sink difficult to access. Hot water system was old and needs replacing difficult to have a consistent temperature. No washing machine in the apartment although it was stated in description. Launderette facilities were available on ground floor for extra payment although no washing powder or pegs were supplied. Tea and Coffee was described but on arrival only a kettle was supplied. Not enough room to unpack cases as part of the wardrobe was padlocked. I would suggest that the electrics need checking as everything seems to be run off of extension leads.

Light and airy, with a balcony. Roomy for two, great kitchen with good equipment. Lovely large screen TV. Undercover parking.

Steps up to and down to elevator. Although we were not disabled, it is awkward with lobbing bags with your hands full. It is definitely manageable but just awkward.

Very clean and tidy Alison the host was easy to deal with Handy to town and tourist places Handy to hospital as wife was having surgery

Nothing Everything was just right for our needs

The convenience to Freemantle and Rottness Island ferries. The room was exceptional clean

The room amenities desciption needs to be altered as there are isnt a washing machine or tumble dryer in the room.

The location.

The mould in the bathroom (particularly, in most of the grout in the shower. The 2 flights of stairs not serviced by the lift (not really addressed in description). Much of the closet (and portion of the kitchen) was locked and unusable. The very uncomfortable double bed. The fact that the water never actually got any more than slightly warm during our entire stay (and yes, I followed instructions and have lived with this type of system before). The "view" was of the hospital. The location was good enough, but could not outweigh the issues. Would never stay here again.
