Staff can improve on how they deal with guests

I was allowed to check in a little earlier than advertised, without question. The hosts clearly were expecting my arrival and there was friendly reception. Property very secure and in good location.

Urgh, that receptionist /cleaning lady was absolute rubbish. Gives you the key and tells u where to go instead of taking you there and showing you around. Was not happy with her service.

The reception when we got to the property.We were told our Uber couldn't enter the premises which we accepted and respected even though it meant that we had to carry our bags from outside the gate to find the reception area.The lady just locked herself in the room and looked at us through the window while we searched and guessed which building or door could lead us to the reception area. We finally found it however she stayed in the room ,opened the blinds slightly and spoke to us via the intercom(don't know what that thing is called) and asked for my I'd and made us check in through a drop box type of situation and then.... wait for it......threw the rooms keys in that drop box and uttered something like "Just turn around the corner, you'll find a sliding door,open it and turn right and your room is that side,look for the number on your keys". I mean I trusted you with my money, my safety, security and Identity document. I didn't just hit you with a surprise visit as you've been expecting me and you are going to treat 2 female guests as if they are dangerous people so much so that you can't even show them to their room.I'll never book with them again. When booking, there's an option for shuttle service which I ticked as add on and there's also a file in the room that spoke about shuttle services to and from the airport and when we enquired about it as we needed the service,we we told they do not have a shuttle.Oh a positive thing is that we left just before 7 in the morning hoping to be back before 11 for checkout however, we waited long for our Uber and only arrived at 11:07 but I had called to let them know beforehand that they can clean and clear the room as we packed everything before we left and just needed to pick up the bags and we were not charged extra for the late exit.There was an electric shock when you touched the taps or water in the bathroom, couldn't even take a shower.
