Parking place

The appartment was spacious and in a good location in the centre. The host responded until late and quickly.

We didn't have a good experience at all. As shown on the listing, it says there is free parking available at a nearby location. This is not the case. There is public parking in the centre but the appartment is in a pedestrian zone (also mentioned in the listing). The parking is to be paid from 7am until 7pm or 5pm on Saturday. We arrived quite late after a long drive and the instructions to find the appartment were not the clearest. It is in the building next to the store they mention and you have to go to the second floor before you see the booking-sign they mentioned. It's a pain to have to search for this with heavy backpacks and no parking that was for free nearby. This caused a lot of stress and when we asked the host, they said that the instructions about free parking were clear (they're not). And couldn't tell us a spot where we could park for free. We had to wake up at 7 to pay for the parking, which wasn't too difficult but late at night, we couldn't figure it out. And you can only pay for 2 hours and they you cannot stay in the parking space. So even when the check-out is at 11. You have to leave at 9. Which is once again not great when you're really tired and driving a lot. We didn't get any sleep due to the stress. The host responded quickly but in a rude way and gave information that was not very helpful. In the end they offered us to stay there without paying, which was a kind (or easy) offer but that didn't take away that we did not get any sleep at all and had to wake up at 7 in any case..

We didn't cope with self-checkin, because we were very tired after long trip. Thus, a lady came to help us. She was so rude. She was yelling at me in front of my children. She expected me to give her the exact amount. If I hadn't been tired, I would have canceled the accommodation. It was such a pity because the apartment was very spacious. There was a noise from the street, but with closed windows it was possible to sleep.
