Top floor flat with sea view

Really near the beach, very short drive to Canterbury. The property had everything we needed, it’s a great size and was very tidy. The en-suite made things much easier and there were more than enough beds for everyone. And PARKING!!! Brilliant.

Very spacious rooms, plenty of natural light. Clean and cosy. All essentials for the kitchen.Loved the color scheme and decor throughout the flat. TV and games for entertainment. Location was great, a couple of minutes walk to the seafront where there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

Some items a little dated, this didn't distract from the comfort of the flat. We had no internet connection the first day, even though we were connected to the WiFi. but it worked perfectly the other days.

Definitely clean and nice. The closeness to the sea front was spot on

Finding the first key and parking a long wheelbase van, but to be fair, not the property owners fault and it was doable, just hard when another vehicle was in the next bay.

Location to the beach, shops, eateries and pub was very good. It was clean and tidy.

As property on main road and junction there was alot of traffic noise. Due to the age of the property the slash window vibrated as a result of the amount of road traffic.

Spacious flat. 2 bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen.

We where left astounded to how homey the flat felt, the house is complete with everything including the kitchen. The host is makes sure every single detail is up to perfection!! I really recommend it you will have a really good stay in this property!!

Nothing! There was nothing I feel needs to be improved.

The location was good for accessing the sea front; although the sea view from the flat was a little further away than expected. The flat itself was vey spacious and homely. Loved the purple theme in the open plan lounge/ kitchen. I would recommend this to other travellers. Thank you x

A little noisy at times from passing traffic but bearable. A small freezer would be handy as there isn't one in the fridge.

We loved the location, which is one of the reasons why we picked it. It's close to the High Street and the beach and also had a view of the sea. It had more than one bathroom, which was good as we are a family. There was plenty of room for a family, which was really good. My other half said almost straight away that he liked the place (and he isn't very easy to please when it comes to that sort of thing). There was a folder with information about the stay, such as what to do with the keys and bin bags, but also some information about restaurants and what to do in and around Herne Bay. Some of the pages could have done with being looked at and swapped out with new ones as they were worn, but other than that, the folder was a good idea. Liked that there were Herne Bay themed decorations here and there in the flat, like pictures on the wall, coasters and fridgemagnets. Liked that there was a bit of a colour theme. There was a lovely garden outside as you walked to the front door. Good that there is a parking space. Overall it was a lovely flat with a good location and we had a nice stay.

Stains on some of the towels, some dust and no washing machine. A washing machine would be great for people who are staying more than just a few days and for families. We had to change all the binbags ourselves before we checked out. That was a first for us. May be common, just not where we've stayed before? When we got there, there was a jug of water left on the kitchen counter (from the previous guests?). We ran out of warm water in the shower several times. The freezer needed defrosting.
